  • The magazine typically receives around 12,000 viewers on the day of launch each month.
  • The magazine receives over 150,000 downloads each month indicating that movie commercial advertising is a very effective way of advertising your product within the magazine.

ADVANTAGES OF ADVERTISING WITHIN AN ONLINE MAGAZINE

Advantages of advertising within an online magazine are:

  • More up-to-date info: The lead time is approx 5 days, allowing customers to get the very latest info on your products.
  • More accessible to readers: Boardseeker Magazine is delivered directly to their inbox every month with none of the distribution problems of traditional printed magazines.
  • More interactive: Use of video commercials, audio tracks, downloadable brochures and web links allow readers to easily find out more about products which they may be interested in.
  • The opportunity to use video commercials and animated adverts: This makes advertising much more effective than a static page.
  • Can be read at work: Most websites are busiest during working hours because employees surf the internet whilst at work. Boardseeker is no exception. People are more receptive to information whilst in a working environment, making your advertising more effective.
  • Association with new technologies is great for the image of your company.
  • A new and fresh format of advertising will have more impact on readers.
  • Boardseeker is rapidly developing a World Wide audience.

YOUR ADVERT

Boardseeker Magazine offers ONE advertising package which includes a Banner Advertisement including a Reader Interaction Menu and smaller Scatter Adverts throughout the site. The price of advertising is based upon the placement of your Banner Advertisement within the magazine. Full details are given below:

Banner Advertisement

Boardseeker Magazine accepts adverts of one size. Your advert may be a full animation FLASH banner, an animated GIF or a static JPG. You can either supply us with an advert of the required size (250x250 pixels with maximum file size of 50Kb) or, for £95 (GBP), our designers will produce one for you.

Interaction Menu (below advert)

Before insertion within the magazine, your banner advert will be equipped with an interactive menu that will allow readers to:

  • Download your product brochure
  • Locate their nearest dealer/stockist
  • View a movie commercial of your product
  • Link to your website

The Interaction Menu is a standard feature of the advertising package and will not incur any additional charge.

Scatter Adverts

To ensure that you get a level of publicity on every page of the magazine, we will include a version of your banner to randomly appear within the pale blue margin on the right hand side of the magazine. These are known as ‘scatter adverts’.

Scatter Adverts are a standard feature of the advertising package and will not incur any additional charge.

Placement

Instead of the traditional method of pricing by size, the price of your advert is based upon placement within the magazine. Positioning within the most popular pages of the magazine commands the highest rates.

Your decision of which page/s to advertise within the magazine will depend upon your budget and your product. For example, a company selling coaching services may decide that their advertising will be most effectively placed within the technique section of the magazine.

PRICING

Pricing of your advert is based upon placement within the magazine and the number of insertions that you commit to. There are a limited number of advertising spaces within the magazine (to maximise the impact of advertising) and therefore we cannot guarantee to be able to offer advertising on all of the pages listed below. Advertising is sold on a first come, first served basis.
