It is a longboard? Is it a freeride board? It is a beginner board? No, it’s the LongRider – a totally new concept from RRD that is suitable for just about any standard of windsurfer. It can be a light wind cruiser, a perfect beginners’ board, a family fun board and even a retro wave board! This board could well improve your family ‘summer holiday’ for 2008!
Features
The most distinctive characteristic of the LongRider is it’s step tail which gives the board dual-purpose allowing it to perform in planing and non-planing conditions.
The step tail gives a double rocker section, reducing the wet surface when planing and giving longer rails in the very light stuff! |
| |
‘Malibu style’ nose with soft, full EVA deck coping with a small child or dog perfectly well! |
| |
Long algeier daggerboard is easy to use, giving more stability and upwind performance in non-planing conditions. |
| |
Multiple footstrap positions from external for advanced riders to very inboard inserts to suit beginners’ needs.
| |
Thick, soft rails until reach the step tail area rails where they become thinner for better manoeuvering.

Full EVA deck gives a soft comfort and allows great grip all around the deck and also during old school rail riding.
