The Tushingham X-15 has been developed for the growing numbers of advanced windsurfers looking to break personal, national or even international speed records. With numerous test-runs by team rider Bob Cunningham already recording speeds in excess of 40 knots, the sails have proven to deliver blistering performance both on the speed course and in slalom racing.

Ken Black has given the X-15 an extra batten and more cams than the popular Lightning, focusing on ultimate stability, control and speed in overpowered conditions. The sail is technical both in rigging and on the water but the wider luff sleeve and low drag aerofoil section produces high stability and control combined with a slippery ‘no limit’ top end feel, which allows the rider to remain in complete control in the most overpowering conditions.
