Streamlined Josh Angulo True Performance Booms 2007

Could this be the ultimate boom?! There are two things that are unique about these booms from Streamlined.

Firstly, the exaggerated straight section of tubing along the boom grip, leading into the front curve. This is designed to give a firmer and more ergonomic grip for 'overhand' sailors.

Secondly, these booms have 'strap on' front ends - similar to a ski boot fastening. The advantage being a more secure fastening between boom and mast. This front end has proven the test of time in Formula racing where, with boom lengths exceeding 3 meters, stiffness is paramount. The boom can be supplied with 2 different heads to suit either RDM or Standard mast diameters.

Small diameter body with a super light weight carbon tail piece

50cm range with settings every 2 cms.

Boom is covered with ‘progrip’ HTR (high tear resistant).

The ‘strap-on’ head weighs 13.5 oz and is constructed with a durable aluminium frame, stainless steel clamps and heavy-duty webbing.
