Sailing Pozo in such strong winds is really hard. You think you will be brave and get back into it easily but you never do. It doesn’t even look that windy from the beach but when you get on the water, that wind hits you and you remember the fear of all those years past. Once I get into it, I really enjoy it. The small sails are easy to throw around and you can have a lot of fun flying through the air but for the first couple of days, it really feels like survival. The nice thing about this trip is that we had some waves too, which makes the whole experience all the more fun. I love sailing Pozo with a little swell as you can just jump so high. It also seems to flatten out the chop a bit when there is a swell as when it is completely flat, the wind makes it very choppy.
