Storm Stylin’

For most people the natural assumption when we talk about windsurfing in storms is to think of huge swells and monstrous waves. Well there is another side to it that reaches a whole new level of excitement when the winds extend into the storm force range – freestyle. Equipment Choice

In the Netherlands we often sail in really strong stormy winds so I am prepared with my 3.3 Gaastra Manic and waveboard. For freestyle I stay on my 3.8 pure and freestyle board, there are some days that it just becomes impossible though. I always use a 16.5cm fin.
