Originally invented by Kiri Thode, the ‘toad’ has had some speculation over the naming of the move. However, the common use of ‘misty flip’ by many of the pro-riders has lead to this casual re-naming. - Duck the sail so you are going clew-first
- Maintain a wide grip
- Sail fast in clew-first
- Aim for a small ramp and carve a tiny bit into the wind as you take off
- Flip the board over the sail and land the sail behind you
- Pro-tip: On landing be sure to bring the hands closer together
