Editor's Ramble

No, you’re not going mad! We have experienced a time warp in the Boardseeker offices and gone straight to November. With our magazine coming out mid month, and us not wanting to call it Mid Oct to Mid Nov (not very catchy) we have decided to name Issue 4 the November issue.

It really doesn’t matter too much, what matters is that we continue to bring you exclusives, exciting video footage and the very latest news in every issue.

So this month we have for you:

Interview with the Formula World Champion, Micah Buzianis
Video footage from the most recent UK and PWA contests
Travel feature to Dahab: the perfect winter destination
The stubby war: we review three 2005 ‘stubby’ wave boards
Beachseeker: including the start of Oisin’s guide to the best beaches in Ireland

Please remember that in order to receive a copy of the magazine each month, you need to subscribe by filling in your name and email address.

So click the subscribe button to ensure you get next month’s issue!

Thank you and enjoy
the Mag!

Louise Emery.

But here is a snippet of what he said and what it looks like to ride on Dunkerbeck’s shoulders down a speed course.

The Melting Pot of British Talent

The British wave sailing scene is bursting with exciting talent. So with two events left on the UK Freewave calendar, the finale of the Triple Crown in Tiree and the National Wavesailing Championships in Rhosneigr, we thought it was time to check out the form.

Reef Competition

What are the girls running away from?
Well they have left poor Brianna at the bar to pay the drinks bill with no cash. Naughty girls! Can you find Brianna and pay her drinks bill for her?

If you do, you could win some Reef goodies!!

Congratulations to Tim Simmons who wins a pair of Reef shoes for his detective efforts in finding
last month's Reef girl in the The Moves that Mattered special feature.

F2 GPS board

Speed is back! It actually never really disappeared especially for the average consumer outside the windsurfing world. GPS has been used for years as a navigation device to calculate speed and distances and integrated into electronic devices in cars and watches. So why not for windsurfing?

Together with a windsurf addicted engineer, F2 developed an integrated GPS version for Windsurf boards. With this system, on a display in front of your feet, you can now check the actual, maximum and average speed and distance whilst sailing.

MINGING or BLINGING?

The 2005 Kauli Pro Range.

The new look Kauli Pro wave range for 2005 will certainly turn heads.

The yellow swirls have been likened to the ends of a blonde haired woman, octopus tentacles or underwater seaweed!

But what matters is: what do you think?

BLOW OUT: Julian Da Vall and Brian McDowell let rip!

OI !.....DRAKE, BELBEOCH, DIETHELM….NO!! The Ranters let rip on the Olympics.
