Neil Pryde Clothing
When we hear of a well-known manufacturer of any given product suddenly changing track and dipping their fat little fingers into a pie they know absolutely nothing about it gives us shivers. A prime example is the hideous creation that was a Cristian Dior snowboard – yours for only 1000 of your English pounds. Ridiculous.
However, Neil Pryde seems to have achieved the exact opposite of this phenomenon with their new clothing range.
We are all aware of Neil Pryde’s reputation for producing quality windsurfing products, with regards to both materials and performance. If even half of this expertise translates to their new clothing range then we may see some very fine garments indeed.
The guys at Neil Pryde have obviously put some time and effort into this, it’s not just something they’ve gone steaming into hoping to sell on the back of their windsurfing reputation. They obviously want to be considered as a clothing brand in their own right and by the looks of the collection they deserve to as well.
Pryde aim to produce two collections per year – a summer and a winter. You can take a look at the winter stuff on their website now – www.neilprydeclothing.com.
The final tweaks are currently being made to their summer collection in preparation for the big launch in a couple of weeks. We’ve had a sneak preview already and it looks super nice! We should be getting a bundle from the generous people at Neil Pryde Clothing just in time for the next issue, which in turn we will be happy to pass on to a few lucky readers. Watch this space…
"This is no lip gloss, baby!"
Name: Lucy Robson Age: 24yrs Home town: Brighton

If you haven't been on planet Earth recently, you probably wont know that Phil McGain, Kevin Pritchard and sail designer Barry Spanier left Gaastra and took hold of the reins at Maui Sails.
With all that expertise and team riders Taty Frans & Dorota Staszewska behind the brand, we expect big things from Maui Sails over the comming years.
The sails have already been put to great effect at competitions across the World by Kevin, Phil, Dorota and Taty and now they are finally available in the UK!
The racing sail, TR-1, is now available in sizes from 4.3 to 12.0 and is being used by Top UK racer Jamie Lever.
The LEGEND & GLOBAL wave sails will arrive in July along with the Super-X specific sail, the SWITCH.

Windy & sunny in the middle of the UK – it’s a miracle! Hence the third F2 Speed Challenge of 2005 was a roaring success and nearly produced the winner that will get an all-expenses paid trip to the Fuerteventura Speed Event in July courtesy of F2. However, a certain Nick Scott got 32 mph at the previous West Kirby event which surely means he's on his way to Fuerte!!
The next event is at Wells-next-the-sea, Norfolk on the East Coast on the 17th July and there are some autumn F2 Speed Challenges on the horizon.
