Matt Pritchard visits UK to promote Tabou & Gaastra

Matt Pritchard has been busy promoting the all new 2006 Gaastra Range and the 06 Tabou boards since finishing competition in the Canaries. Gaastra rep, Nick Green, looked after Matt on his short visit to the UK by first enforcing the tired lad to a motocross session in the Yorkshire Hills. However Matt was the man and he went full speed at everything and was styling it over the jumps looking down at the rest of the crew.

Then it was off to Nobles in Leicester where Matt talked a customer into buying a new Tabou Rocket 61 in the first 5 minutes of him being in the shop!
Matt also signed a few boards and kept the Nobles crew up to date with what’s coming from Gaastra including showing his pre-production Manic 2006. But as soon as he had arrived, he was gone, this time to Germany and then finally home to his beloved Maui.

Plenty of sun & a dash of wind = Best Ever Nobles Demo

The Nobles Team would like to thank all the sailors who came to their annual demo as well as the importers who turned up with all the kit over a sunny July weekend. The Formula boys were loving life as were the freeriders but for the rest it was sunbathing time topped off with an evening BBQ served by the Nobles crew. See you next year.

F2 Speed Challenge

Nick Scott (winner of the UK Speed Challenge) competes with the best at the ISA Speed Champs in Fuerte

Nick:

We only had two one hour sessions both on a course with meter high plus waves and fluky wind which was blowing at 150 plus degrees to the course. I broke a boom on the first run down the course on Sunday which was over a mile from the kit store tent so that was a wash out. Then on Friday I broke another boom on the way back up the course out to sea and had to be rescued. However on the Tuesday I did get up to 38 knots on a 500m course but the event didn’t run because they have to have a 250m course and the wind wasn’t working in that area!!’ Better luck next time Nick!!

Wells-on-the-sea (17 July): Supported by Quayside Windsurfing, the last Speed Challenge was won by Tony Morris in the light Sunday afternoon winds.
