It's been a fairly windy autumn. Down on the south coast of the UK around Christchurch all of the boys have been getting out on the water as often as the Pros: this hunger is good to see!

As a sort of celebration of the Autumn winds arriving, James Cox has found time to put together some footage:

Over to James on his filmatic aperitif:

"I needed to round up a camera woman (my girlfriend) an auxiliary camera man (my brother) a rock legend from the gates of hell for the soundtrack (my brother again) and renewed my AA membership to allow for the number of times I was going to lock my van keys in my van.

In the video is action from Kimmeridge Bay, Southbourne and Avon Beach - all classic spots that make me smile in their own way.

We managed to catch Kimmeridge Bay with a good swell in a south-east wind. In the morning the waves were bigger and more sucky suiting my gunny, small Quatro wave board. As the wave quality got more variable and the winds lighter (at extroardinarily the same time as the camera woman stopped snacking and started filming), the scene became perfect for my Freestyle Wave.

As it turned out, soon after collecting this footage I was to head up to Tiree for the Wave Classic and was eagerly awaiting the collection of some new kit to play in the Scottish waves. No sooner had I arrived than I was struck down by a Highland virus and left unable to compete.

Instead, with cheeks like an overfed hamster I am forced to miss the conditions. Alas what to do, but wax lyrically?"

Thanks to Tim for filming at Southbourne and Avon, Lucy for filming at Kimmeridge and Tim for his kick ass soundrack.
