The first wave event of the 2008 season has kicked off in fine style and with few surprises as the top three sailors of the single elimination are Jason Polakow, Josh Angulo and Kauli Seadi. However Robby Swift has had a blinder of a contest to finish fourth. The double elimination was a tight contest as sailors knew this was their last chance to impress the judges. But the four sailors left to challenge the top four are Thomas Traversa, Marcilio Browne, Alex Mussolini and Kai Katchadourian.
