One day of action was all that was needed for France’s Nicolas Akgazcyan to take his first ever EFPT title. Conditions were perfect for freestyle on day one of the event and with 37 entries, qualification heats had to be run before the main contest started. As the day progressed there were four sailors who really stood out pulling out a variety of very complex tricks applauded by the beach crowds; Otaegui, Akgazcyan, Gunzlein and Paskowski. All four sailors made it to the final, but Akgazcyan came out on top – a great win for the Gun Sails rider.
