Fat Face Festival
The report.

It was a perfect Saturday for the third Fat Face festival; plenty of wind, lashings of rain, several battered and noisy marquees of '09 kit and over 600 people, 350 of them competitors, ready for action. Not to mention the mid-afternoon shore break providing hilarious comedy moments as amateurs, pro's and top level coaches got beaten back to the shore, kit and ego only just intact.

The wind and shorebreak eased off, thank goodness, as the night approached and by 8.30pm the event was in total darkness.

Crank up the generators, turn on the floodlights, attach the glow sticks and off we go!
