Well certainly very little coming in today in terms of videos but we have a couple more for you and a few snippets from around the world. Firstly, if you missed this then Club Vass released a great video from their popular centre in Greece. A place where you can find many of the UK’s top windsurfers passing on their love for the sport and sending the biggest possible moves during the summer months.
For our American and racing friends, the Miami Pro-Am will be kicking off in January, including all the classic disciplines; Formula, RS:X, Kona, Longboard and more… Check out the details here – windsurfingtour.com/miami-pro-am-2013-january-19-20
Our final windsurfing video of the day comes from Colin and Marco, also regulars from the Club Vass scene, these two set out on a mission to bring the best coaching video to date on to our screens. Well from what we’ve seen it looks pretty much on the money, take a look at the trailer for yourself and grab yourself a late Christmas pressie.
Heading in to the world of surfing, a harrowing tale comes from Greg Long who managed to survive (just) a three wave hold down at Cortes Bank recently. Read about it here and be sure to venture out in conditions you can handle.
To wrap up, news from the SUP world, here is a great one from the Fanatic Prowave, looks like a great board for those lighter wind days when the swell is pumping.
With news a little quiet during this festive period we will try switching the update around a little and bring you the smaller one now and the slightly longer one this afternoon. However, do not be disappointed as we have a cracking clip from Victor Fernandez to open with. One of the worlds finest wave sailors, Victor has been out practising his Starboard tack in Hookipa, here is the outcome. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, is he looking a little shaky on starboard tack, are there resemblances of Mark Angulo’s style in there?
Up next is the young and talented Dieter Van der Eyken. Currently out in Brazil where it seems to be flaka shaka season as everyone trains the move hard for the 2013 World Tour, Dieter takes it one step further with the shaka into shaka, pretty smooth move we think, take a look below or head to this link if the video is not working for you.
Someone else in Brazil who has been training new moves and also promises a new video, Steven Van Broeckhoven. Teaming up with Andraz Zan and Kauli Seadi we can expect something pretty special to come out soon, keep your eyes peeled. For now, check out this action shot of Steven mid Gozzada Cheese Roll or Shaka Blind, what do you think?
Ok that’s about it for this morning but head back later when we hope to have plenty more for you.
