Day 2 saw plenty of action on the water, the winds were light and gusty to say the least but a full single was complete with most riders sticking the required number of moves in each heat. Upon reflection it was a true testament to the ability of the competitors that they managed to perform such high level moves in such low winds. It seems that the wind range for freestyle competition has certainly reached new possibilities in recent years. Perhaps in part to do with equipment advances, but also in part due to the new back winded moves, where the wind in the sail is used to launch the riders into new skool aerial moves.
Stay tuned for the podcast from the second day, coming very soon.
