Leon Jamaer and Ricardo Campello showed some serious levels of professionalism and a huge amount of balls to the walls moves as the two made their way back through the double elimination in equally staggering performances. News from our inside man said that it was quite the show!
Leon Jamaer, had had one of the most disappointing starts to the event when he was knocked out in the first round putting himself in last place. For some that is more than enough to knock their confidence, for others it is all the motivation they need and for Jamaer it was exactly the latter of the two. He stormed back with a vengeance in his eyes to take 7th place after crushing the hopes of fellow competitors Moritz Mauch, Alex Sanllehy, ex-PWA World Champion Scotty Mckercher and home-spot favourite Dany Bruch. Adding to the excitement was the heat between Bruch and Jamaer where the two fought toe to toe in one of the closest heats of the day, Jamaer snuck ahead with 0.05 points on the judges sheets!

Meanwhile Campello, who wanted to dedicate his result from this event to his close late friend Andre Paskowski, has his eyes set on one place – 1st. With that he stormed past Adam Lewis, John Skye and then Marcilio Browne in one of the most heated battles of the day. The two Brazilian riders are good friend but both are two of the most radical riders on the tour and this heat was worthy of a final showdown to determine the top two places, however it was only to decide 6th place! We have to admit it, we are pretty excited to see these final heats so tune in later today where we will have the live stream pumping out right here on www.boardseekermag.com.
