It was way back in 2008 that the first ever triple loop was attempted by crazy Campello. Four years on and despite a lot more attempts and few coming close, we haven’t actually seen a proper triple yet.
Let’s take a look at the best attempts so far, and it’s time to place your bets on who we could see get a triple this year…
The first ever triple forward attempt from Ricardo… Ricardo’s already said on facebook he will be looking to land one in Pozo this year, let’s hope the conditions get big to give him the best chance!
A Koester attempt in 2012? The undisputed jumping king, has Koester landed a triple elsewhere? We haven’t seen it yet, but if anyone can do it surely Koester can?
Perhaps the closest one to the triple has been Boujmaa, but as we all know this attempt in 2011 did not end well at all. Will Boujmaa be trying to triple again? We will have to wait and see!
What do you think? Will someone finally land a triple in 2013 and who will it be? Or is this jump a step too far for the safety of windsurfers?
