The PWA has released their provisional Calendar of events for 2009, and it looks like we will have a season full of action.
The main surprise from this provisional calendar is the possible return of the Indoor competition, with one planned to happen in Madrid from the 9th until the 12th of April. After that, there are also scheduled events for Podersdorf (Austria, Slalom for men), Ulsan in Korea (Slalom), Guincho in Portugal (Waves), Costa Brava in Spain (slalom), the “Canarian Tour” with Lanzarote, Pozo and Fuerteventura, Alacati in Turkey (Slalom), Sylt in Germany (waves, slalom and freestyle) and finally Scotland (wave only men).
The Tour will kick off with the first wave competition, the legendary Cape Verde, from the 14th until the 21st of February. Unluckily, this event will be an only men event, so we wont be able to see chicks action over there.
Some of these events are not fully confirmed yet, but they are looking very likely.
We will keep you updated about all the comps and news about them.
