42.72 Knots on the Canal today!!
With a moderate 25 – 30 Knots on the speed canal today, Italian F2 shaper Patrik Diethelm has proven that he could be a serious threat to Dave Whites production board speed record of 44.03 knots.
With a much lighter wind than Dave had for his record run, Patrik managed to clock a speed of 42.72 Knots over 500m on the new F2 Missile XS (which takes the new Italian record).
Patrik\’s aim for the past 12 months has been to beat the record and if the wind comes through to usual record breaking strength, it looks like he could have a good chance of making it!!
