Good morning to all and welcome to the AM update.

The PWA have released the latest in their \’Sailor In Focus\’ series. This time round it is Dutch freestyler Arrianne Aukes under the spotlight. Head over to the PWA website to find out how Arrianne got started, her aims for 2012, how she learns new moves and the pros and cons of Ponches!

We check in now with French Transatlantic voyager Sarah Hebert. Sarah set off yesterday from Dakar in Morocco after being delayed for a day. The aim of her trip is to be the first female to cross the Atlantic on a windsurf board with the target destination being Gaudaloupe. You can follow Sarah and her support crew LIVE via GPS on THIS PAGE and read more about the project HERE.

Next up is a cool, short surf video from Fuerteventura. Belgian surfer Lars Musschoot produced this short clip of him catching some surf in the Canaries. Just a quick one but a nice clip!

Kicking off today in Portugal is the RS:X European Championships. The 56-strong male and 23-strong female fleets will be battling it out to claim the European title on Madeira Island. The forecast is looking great for the upcoming days and with this being the last event before the World Championships in Cadiz next month, everything is to play for. Follow the action on the official website and check out the trailer below…

While we are on RS:X, news from the racing world down under. The Tecnho 293 Oceanics and RS:X New Zealand Nationals have just been completed at Manly Sailing Club. There wasn\’t a huge amount of wind but the Kiwis still managed to complete the racing with the overall men\’s RS:X Winner being Antonio Cozzolino and the Techno Overall Winner Alohkaa Pequeux. Check out the full report HERE.

See you later for the PM update with some awesome video action…
