The PWA have uploaded their latest in the \’Sailor in Focus\’ series. Under the spotlight this week is Dutch wavesailor Amanda Beenen. Click here to read a really interesting interview with the rising star.

Amanda is currently out in the Canary Islands for the fourth year of the Fuerteventura Wave Classic. Fellow female sailor Iballa Moreno has a report over on the Severne website about how the competition is going, have a look here.

As the FWC enters it\’s final days, the video crew of Martin Keruzore, Pierre Bouras and Greg Scherpe have released their third video from the North Shore. It\’s really great to have such high-quality videos being produced and released so quickly from the event site, keep up the good work guys. In this video the competitors head to El Cotillo to ride the beachbreak. Some awesome rides, aerials and crashes!

With the first freestyle event on the PWA calendar fast approaching, ContinentSeven have a wild card to give away to one rising star. The Podersdorf freestyle comp in Austria kicks off on the 27th April, and if you think you have what it takes to battle it out against the world\’s best then head over HERE to find out more details and submit your application.

Potentially heading to Austria to compete is young Aruban freestyler Steven Max. He has shared some photos of him tearing it up at home in the Caribbean. At just 13 years old, Steven is definitely one to keep an eye on, check him out in action here.

Hot Sails also report that the latest sails have freshly arrived in the UK. The GPS race and Firelight wave sail are now ready for distribution, find out more HERE.

We wrap up this morning with some more young blood, this time from Pozo. Introduced here a few weeks ago, Pablo Ramirez is just 16 years old and shows great potential. Check out some awesome jumping and waveriding from the Goya sailor.
