Thursday\’s AM update starts with a bit of freestyle from British ripper Phil Richards. Part of the GetWindsurfing.com coaching duo, Phil has been out in Egypt over the winter and has put together a sick little video clip. To celebrate the start of the 2012 American Windsurfing Tour, the Goya store in Haiku is throwing a party. With the chance to win a Goya sail in the raffle as well as a BBQ and music, it\’s the perfect way to kick off the AWT in style. If you are on Maui be sure to swing by this Saturday from 7pm. Ahead of the first PWA freestyle event in Austria at the end of the month, Podersdorf local Max Matissek┬áis stoked to announce a new sponsor. The Red Bull Storm Chase is renowned for pitting the best sailors in the world against some of the most extreme conditions in the world. Well, according to the website, the Storm Chase is scheduled to kick off again in May.
