The penultimate day at the Podersdorf Surf World Cup was one of mixed action. With the wind conditions constantly rising and dropping, the PWA managed to complete four frustrating heats in the double elimination before calling it a day. Big names advancing to the second round include Andy \’Bubble\’ Chambers, Yegor Popretinskiy, Loick Spicher and local boy Max Mattisek. Here is the action from Day Three.

Today\’s forecast is for light winds, but things can change in an instant in Austria, so keep an eye on the Live Ticker on the PWA website. You can also check out the full report from Day Four there.

RS:X World Champion Julien Bontemps has secured another victory at Hyeres in France. Bontemps dealt with some very windy conditions on his home turf following an extremely windy event at the World Championships in Cadiz. “I was tired after the windy conditions in Cadiz. So it was tough to start again with a windy event! Especially with the Polish who are fast in the breeze, I needed to give my best!” said the victorious Bontemps.

The LiveChat with Andre Paskowski was a great success last night on our sister site Boards. Click here to check out all the questions and answers from the German superstar.
