The American Windsurf TourĀ 2012 has got off to a cracking start at Santa Cruz. Two days of awesome conditions saw some of the best wavesailors around battling it out in California. As head judge Matt Pritchard explains, the conditions didn\’t kick in on the final day, so check out this really nice review of the event and the prizegiving. The top spot in the pro fleet went to Levi Siver, while Ingrid Larouche topped the womens\’ comp. The full results are HERE on the AWT website.

Out in Korea, the PWA Slalom fleets endured another day on standby as the wind teased the competitors. The crew caught up with judge Francky Roguet who talks about life on the tour and the surprise winner of the first elimination, Bora Kozanoglu. The Turkish champion and Alacati local shares his thoughts on his win in the first elimination, gear setup and the importance of slalom starts.
