The first clip in the PM update comes courtesy of the uber-talented Klaas Voget. Heading to Maui for the 2013 Fanatic and Simmer Style photoshoots, Voget is ripping as hard as ever and shows why he came first at the recent Sylt summer opening festival. Check out some sick action including some hige days at Jaws and howling session at Ho\’okipa – and get a sneak peek at some of the 2013 gear…

A great new project is up and running to help shape the windsurfing stars of tomorrow. Drawing on the experience of seasoned pros such as Boujmaa Guillol and Flo Jung, the inspired Talentschmiede project takes 10 promising young guns and schools them in everything from media to coaching to sponsor relations. A fantastic idea that will hopefully produce some of the future wave and freestyle legends.

Also focusing on the next generation is the Sosh Freestyle Cup. With the aid of the Moussilmani Brothers, the French event will see windsurfers, skateboarders, BMXers and more descending on Marseille to battle it out for the title in various age groups. A great way to push the next generation and get some awesome competition on the go. Check out the (French language) website here and the promo clip here.

Austrian ripper Mauricio Alvarex and UK Freestyle Champ Adam Sims have a new video project in the offing. Produced by Seb Godsmark, the editing is still in process but looks to have some sick effects and epic action. Here\’s the test clip, keep your eyes peeled for the full feature soon!

Hot Sails Maui intern and graphic-guru Paul Zeper has uploaded a selection of photos from the most recent Butterfly Effect event on Maui. Click here to scope his awesome selection of shots.

The Student Windsurfing Association are stoked to announce a new partnership with the Beach Break Live festival. As one of the UK\’s biggest festivals, Beach Break 2012 will now feature windsurfing in the Student Extreme Games in front of 20,000 people. Head to the official event website here and the SWA site here.

More news and video action tomorrow…
