Whilst the politicians talk about double-dip recessions and hard financial times, it seems the windsurfing industry has answered. More events please. We\’ve got the launch of two new events for you today with a third potentially looming for our PM update.

The first is the announcement of a PWA Tour stop in Holland at the well known spot of Brouwersdam. The event organisers and host windsurf centre, Zeil and Surfcentrum, were spotted at the recent PWA Austria tour stop, so it is no surprise that the event will follow on from the tremoundous success of the Austrian World Cup. Expect huge parties, great beach culture and most importantly a complete focus towards windsurfing. Further to this will be several other disciplines, which are yet to be confirmed, so be sure to keep an eye on their fresh new website by clicking here and get over to their facebook page and hit the LIKE button with a passion. Whilst the buzz and excitment is still there, we are happy to announce that the National Windsurf Festival entry is now open, so go get your tickets as once again it will bigger and better than ever. The UKWA are about to kick things off in Herne Bay this weekend, with a promosing forecast it looks like both racers and freestylers will be hitting the water for an action packed weekend. The culmination of which, will be the UKWA AGM. So if you want your voice to be heard then be sure to head along for that, early ruomurs are that there could be some further developments in the freestyle scene for next year.

Talking of rumours… we\’ve heard something down the grape vine from the EFPT, a further potential confirmed event. We\’ll dig deeper and get back to you later today about it.
