Welcome back for another week of top news.

First up, our sources tell us that Andy \’Bubble\’ Chambers took the victory in the UKWA Freestyle this weekend. We are awaiting to hear more from the other diciplines but will let you know as soon as possible. It seems Saturday brought some good wind and favourable conditions for the four times UK Freestyle Champion to storm into first place. Meanwhile Max Rowe and Adam Sims are aiding the Eurocrisis by topping up the deficits in the respective countries that they are currently visiting. More on Sims below and follow Max on his epic Euro road trip here.

Looking further ahead, and that promised EFPT announcement for you, a new confirmed stop. The European Funboard Expression (EFE) will host an EFPT event in Six Fours les Plages, France from the 27th to the 31st of October 2012 – reads the official press release. It seems over the weekend that one of the highlight videos was a session with team Vienna and guest rider Adam Sims. It looks like our current UK Freestyle Champion is all over the place at the moment, scoring epic sessions in Cape Town, Austria and we also hear of an upcoming clip from Egypt. Here is what Adam had to say \’yeh I\’m really putting the training in at the moment as I was off for a lot of time over the winter due to injury. I\’d had only two and a half weeks on the water in six months before PWA Austria and felt suprisingly confident\’.\’Yep my moves are definitely improving, I think this is partly to do with some of the advancements in the new gear I am on now. I can\’t wait to get out to Fuerte and really put it to the test\’.\’I think the next video will be something a little different in terms of the edit, but I\’ve seen the finished cut already and it looks awesome, a huge amount of time has gone into it\’. For now here is what a Viennese \’Lunch Break\’ looks like with ten riders Under the Bridge, courtesy of Hauft.at. For more on Sims go check www.adamsims.com out and head back here soon as he promises updates on new sponsors.

Right that\’s more than enough freestyle for a Monday morning, let\’s get political. Nick Dempsey has been leading the charge on the campaign to fight the ridiculous decision that kitesurfing should take places with windsurfing in the Olympics from 2016 onwards. Check out his interview with the Telegraph here. Meanwhile it looks as though things are heating up as the final leg of the World Tour begins today in Weymouth. This will be the last chance to get some solid racing practice in before the Olympics. Follow Dempsey on his Facebook page.

Sticking with racing and over on Maui it looks like the Maui Race Series has kicked off in a hotly contested battle for the top spot. The winner of the recent PWA Korea World Tour event, Micha Buzianis just snuck into first place after ex-pro Peter Slate took first in races one and two. With it neck and neck in the thrid race it was all to play for. Read more in this exciting report on mauinews.com

In waves and Phil Horrocks has managed to get a update out about the recent BWA events. Suitable happy to be sitting on the top spot, this could be the first time he takes the overall crown as the BWA Champion. Check out more on his website and in our ever popular podcast by our video chief Alfie Hart. You\’ll find it below, or to see it in a slightly bigger view, check our homepage.

The final wrap comes from the surfing world. It looks like GoPro have made one of their biggest signings yet, none other that 11x World Champion – Kelly Slater. Check out their facebook page, they seem pretty damn happy about it.

In the words of Brian Talma, be sure to head back this afternoon for some more Actionnn…
