Good morning all, we\’ve got news popping out our ears so we\’ll rattle through it in a short and sweet manner.

The PWA Slalom came to an end on Saturday and for the women it was the last tour stop and as a result the PWA 2012 World Champion was crowned. The event results saw Sarah Quita-Offringa take 1st place, Valerie Arrighetti 2nd and Karin Jaggi 3rd, this meant that Valerie Arrighetti was crowned the new World Champion just in front of Karin Jaggi who took 2nd and for the first time in the history of the sport a Turkish girl was seen on the podium, taking 3rd overall was Lena Erdil.

In the mens side of the tour Antoine Albeau finished up the event in 1st place after showing a solid performance, in 2nd place was Ben Van Der Steen who also held his own in the heats and the last podium position went to Bjorn Dunkerbeck. Just missing out was the UK\’s very own Ross Williams who sailed a very consistent event to take 4th overall. All in all the action was exciting, fast and very much worth tuning in for. With two more stops left, there\’s still plenty of opportunity for other riders to fight for the podium positions but as it stands Dunkerbeck still holds onto the top spot whilst Albeau sits just behind him in 2nd and Van Der Steen in a close 3rd. Check out the full rankings here, the event report here and event results here.

Time for our first video of the week. This one is certainly going to wake you up…

Next up, Julien Mas is certainly on a Tow-In Freestyle mission, showing some seriously high level combos and getting some impressive air time, check it out…

Around a small amount of social media and John Skye seems to be stoked that he now has a decent double forward on camera. Actually we think it looks pretty much near perfect, click here to be taken to his facebook page. Meanwhile it sounds like the Red Bull Storm Chase had to be called off, however that didn\’t stop Zu Teamrider John Pott scoring some epic conditions at what would have been the final destination, check out the image over on the left. Jim Brooks Dowsett seems completely chuffed with his 3rd place in the RS:ONE racing at Cardiff this weekend.

National Windsurfing Festival draws ever closer, just a few days now until the nation flock to Hayling Island for a week of action and partying! Don\’t miss out as there are just a few tickets left for this years festival, click here to find out more.

Our last snippet of news from this morning comes from Andre Paskowski who is currently in Tarifa and has announced the last few filming days of the RAW Project. Following Gollito around, we can expect unreal action and epic moves. The release dates are as yet unknown but we are very very excited here at Boardseeker…

Finally, the last video of the day comes from the current UK Amateur Champion Aleksy Gayda who had a great time in Ireland recently.
