With the PWA event over in Klitmoeller, the PWA entourage will be packing up and re-locating to Sylt in the next few days for the final show down of all three disciplines. Set to be an exciting finale with plenty of podium positions still to be decided, we\’ll be sure to keep you in the loop about it. On UK shores this weekend the best of the UK\’s freestyle elite were there. Winds were light on the Sunday so tow-in practice and a competition to finish the day were on the cards. Judging by the headline picture it looks like Adam Sims cracked out a fairly decent move to take the top spot in the pros for that. Meanwhile Sunday saw a slow start as the wind didn\’t kick in right away as expected but eventually most found themselves on 4.7\’s in the Fuerteventura like conditions, which gave way to some impressive moves and wipeouts. We\’ll bring you more updates from this but early reports sound like four guys shared the top spot…
In slightly different news Kelly Slater has smashed another milestone by claiming his 50th ever ASP WCT win. He took the title at last weeks Hurley Pro in Trestles. Check out the highlight video of the ultimate surfing icon.
Back to windsurfing and the Jaguar Neilpryde RS:ONE series had its stop in Torbole, Lake Garda this weekend. Competition was fierce with $3,000 prize money up for grabs, we are awaiting the early reports and hope to bring you more on that this afternoon.
