Good morning all, so that promised Jaguar Neilpryde RS:One news for you now. With light winds and €3,000 prize money at stake it was all about the pumping. If you fancy reading a full report then run this through Google translate, however, if it is pictures you are after then check out our headline image and this gallery for more. There\’s further updates coming from NeilprydWindsurfing on facebook too and whilst you\’re there check out the guest appearance from freestyle World Champion – Steven Van Broeckhoven.
Whilst on freestyle here is our little social media review of the UKWA Freestyle #5 in West Witterings this weekend. Firstly, the pictures, Trevor Hibdige was a busy man capturing the highs and lows of the riders, you can see his selection of snaps by clicking here. Scanning through the updates it looks like there was a slight upset as last years UK champ was kicked out before the final stages by Ric Cleworth and Andy \’Bubble\’ Chambers, on the other side of the draw Max Rowe and Oscar Carmichael advanced and as the day drew to a close the wind decided to switch off resulting in a four-way tie for 1st place. How this affects the standings we are not quite sure but no doubt Weymouth will be an impressive showdown to this years UKWA freestyle tour.
More freestyle action and the Austrian Championships also saw a result this weekend just gone. Although no wind, there was still plenty of tow-in and it looks like local weapon Max Matissek took the top spot, check out more here and the video below (German language).
Over to waves now but sticking with a freestyler. It looks like the Italian ripper Mattia Pedrani also knows how to shred in the waves… We\’re very impressed and wonder when we might see him in competition.
When it comes to windsurfing clips you can always be sure the action will be impressive when the video comes out of Israel, well this is certainly no let down! Local riders like Adam Gavriel and Yarden Meir as well as quite a few others are absolutely shredding in this cool edit.
Finally one from BJ Productions who shows us the first waves to hit Tenerife in Spetember.
