This morning we start off with news of the webcam variety. Two new spots have received webcams, both Woolacombe and Croyde are up and running, check out the surf and see who is already down there over at www.intheelements.co.uk.
Our first video comes again from Sylt. Continentseven.com caught up with Philip Koester for a quick chat about his second word title and what it meant to him. Alongside that you can read a full report of what happened, including Syltmania and that windsurfing in Germany seems to be on the boom again.
Also from Sylt, Austrian freestyle weapon Max Matissek has posted a pictorial update from the event including a brief look at the Austrian Championships, which took place just before Sylt.
With Sylt over the next big stop for the wave sailors will be wherever the wind and waves takes them, as the Red Bull Storm Chase is on high alert this week with Japan, Ireland and Iceland all having strong potential. Check out their latest update clip, including shots from Tasmania where they had to cancel at the very last minute!
Now if you are partial to a little yellow under your board Steve Thorp\’s latest offerings from K4 Fins. The stretched bubble and bubble rocket is the name of these new protos. More here.
One for the french speakers now. The next episode of Wapala Mag is out, featuring Antoine Albeau and others whilst on Sylt.
Our final video for the day comes from outside the realms of windsurfing but I\’m sure you can forgive us when you see what this competition is all about. Red Bull really are pushing the realms of sponsorship by supporting nothing but the most insane ideas!
Join us this afternoon for the final wrap on the week.
