Good morning all, welcome back welcome back.
Aussie Kiss, the biggest Student Windsurfing Festival in the world played host to the first ever student UK Tow-in windsurfing last weekend. Taking things a little more seriously the UK pros Adam Sims and Max Rowe have not only been seen training up the young and foolhardy on the UKWA tour but now the pair were called upon to train up those that had just gone in to higher education. Josh Willmot was there to capture all the action and produced this sweet clip over the last couple of days.
With tow-in on the agenda for the last remaing EFPT stops in France and England, the UK guys seem well prepared for it. Talking of which, their journey will begin soon much like Rick Jendurusch\’s has, check out his update here.
Talking of the two EFPT stops, the EFE hosted one in France will be live streamed across the word wide interweb, so we will make sure to point you in the right direction when it starts. The UK tour stop won\’t be live streamed but they have an awesome schedule which they have pulled together in just seven weeks. Pre registration for this event closes tomorrow so all aspiring guys and girls should get signed up and paid for right away, head over to www.kingofthewind.co.uk to find out more and remember ALL male competitors also need to register as a competitor on efpt.net before the end of tomorrow as well.
Having reported on the Jaguar/Neilpryde racing series yesterday they have announced that there are two more stops coming up, the first will be in Rio and the second in the Phillipines. Seems like one hell of a world tour. If you fancy joining in then check out the pre-event reports here and here.
Our next video comes from Dahab. Meikel Theis seems to have scored it this summer, check it out.
Over to waves and it looks like Gran Canaria\’s North Shore has recently been going off. A rare treat for some of the locals who enjoyed epic down the line conditions with some slightly lighter winds. Check out the report from Albert Pijoan.
Back on UK shores and a young man who has reappeared from the windsurfing scene is that of Sam Conroy, a local in Hythe, he seems to be mixing his time between windsurfing and kitesuring, fortunately this is just a windsurfing clip so no need to close your eyes at any point.
Finally we finish this morning with another Aussie Kiss photo gallery, this has a huge amount of exceptional pictures in, so well worth a look, and we catch up with another Kent boy, Pip Pardoe.
