Today we continue with more news from the EFPT in France. Conditions today see strong offshore winds and according to the organisers the police have closed off access to the water for any vessels so the results for the first double will stand meaning that Dieter Van Der Eyken is the winner of the first EFE/EFPT event in France. Also winning his first ever international competition Dieter shows he is ready for next stop in Weymouth. Coming in second was Tonky Frans and third was Davy Scheffers. Find out more on efpt.net or check out their facebook page for plenty of cool shots.
The EFE video contest took place just a couple days ago and the winners full video is yet to be released, however the second place video is up and ready to be watched. A great concept and some really good shots check it out below.
Another cool video with a funny concept comes from some more french rippers. These guys travelled by van to the Canary Islands, not the usual way to get there but it looks like they had a good time in Fuerteventura. Introducing Pierre Garambois and Colin Leclercq in Camel Face.
Heading over to America, it looks like Whit Poor has broken free of the Gorge and shows his powerful wave riding style in this following clip.
With the UK stop of the EFPT just around the corner the organisers have moved the deadline for entry back to attract some last minute entries. The forecast looks promising, four days of wind is expected, two great parties and one epic night tow-in session supported by Red Bull. So for any wishing to compete or wanting to party at the first EFPT King of the Wind head over to www.kingofthewind.co.uk.
