and riders on form were Neal Hilder, Denzil Williams, Lewis Crathern and a local lad called Ian Saunders. Be warned despite no podium placing this guy is certainly to watch out for. The heat of the day wasn’t the final, but a quarter final with Lewis, Neal and Robyn Snuggs. The wind picked up to allow a full powered heat to go ahead. Lewis and Neal seemed well up for it and Neal was busting out slims, mobes, big unhooked kite loops, surface passes and in the closing seconds a full powered kite loop handle pass. Lewis answered with a super powered 313, F16, s bend to blind surface pass and handle pass, but Neal was on full form and Lewis couldn’t keep up the pace this time!! However, Lewis made a comeback against Dave Ibby, who was perhaps not to his usual standard, in the repotage to earn himself a place back in the final against Neal again and Denzil Williams (who was riding super well!) The final had less wind the the other heats and as such the big moves weren’t out to play with as much spectacularness as previous heats, but nonetheless Neal, Lewis and Denzil put up a good show. Denzil was busting out the most moves, but couldn’t match the technicality of the moves from Lewis and Neal and in a close heat between these two this time Lewis came out on top!! Men 1st Lewis Crathern (RRD) 2nd Neal Hilder (Airush) 3rd Denzil Williams (F One) In the ladies it was Jo Wilson who was riding better then the others and she finished on top, but Carrie Begg gave her a good run for her money and Annalisa Dovey was also doing well. It was great to see new girl Maggie joining in the fun. Ladies 1st Jo Wilson (Cabrinha) 2nd Carrie Begg (F One) 3rd Annalisa Dovey (Flexifoil)
