With the imminent PWA world cup competition to be held at Cabo Verde, Fanatic and North have take three locals under their wing for the event to support them in the wild card placings. The local boys, Tikik” Edir Lopes (CV-111) , “Mitu” Oteniel Montiero (CV-0) “Djo” Jose Nascimenta Silva (CV-11) took to the water on skim boards, now they are ripping it up at Punta Preta. These guys have a real good story to go with them. Mitu started on a home made board made out of wood and a plastic sheet for a sail, whilst Djo concentrated on speed sailing for hours before he got a harness. They have refined their skill somewhat now and are excellent surfers too, Fanatic and North have stepped into provide them with opportunity to compete in this coveted event!
