A Year in the Life of Bjorn Dunkerbeck

We may not be at the end of 2013 yet, but Bjorn Dunkerbeck is already looking forward to 2014. Bjorn has shared his competition plans for the whole year, and it’s looking like a busy one again…

January  9th til 12th, Lancelin Ocean Classic. A long distance, downwind race with around 150 to 200 entrants.

31st til 2nd February, St Bart fun cup. A long distance race with around 100 entrants.

After this the slalom world cup event will take place in Margarita, followed by the world cup in Korea.

In May the Defi Wind will take place, where over 700 windsurfers will take to the water.

June will be the world cup in Costa Brava, followed potentially by a pro am speed event in Fuerteventura at the end of the month, before the world cup also in Fuerte in July.

There are more world cups in August and September, with Turkey and Sylt respectively, plus the potential and there may be one in La Thorce France in October.

And the year will wrap up again with the speed competition in Luderitz.
