Bournemouth 2 Brighton : The Movie

| Boardseeker first got wind of Guy Cribb’s crazy idea when we heard the other UK mags wouldn’t advertise his event because it lacked insurance!! Being the rebellious types, and into promoting great freeride windsurfing at all costs, we just couldn’t resist getting involved. Guy had the sailors, he had the safety RIB, he had a decent forecast but what he needed, was a cameraman, two to be exact. One to sit in the rib and have his spine shattered for several hours and the other to fight the Bank Holiday traffic and try and film the sailors along the epic journey from the land. After much negotiation, Guy’s suave approach made the Boardseeker Editor crumble at her knees and provide two cameramen free of charge for this mini-adventure. The result? A lot of knackered looking sailors battling in white capped seas and dodging huge tankers. Enjoy! |
