Windsurfing, it’s all about having a good time – Right?
The lifestyle, the image, freedom on the water, hanging around the beach, sunsets, BBQ’s, being outdoors, cold beers, big waves, summer days it’s all a part of it. So maybe we have all forgotten the roots of the sport, the Funboard.
Imagine one board that can pretty much do everything, a board that complete with a really good quality rig costs less than your average wave board.
A board that can get you and your non windsurfing mates on the water in a force one, to learning a heli tack in a force two, taking the kids for a ride in a force 3, learning to carve gybe in a force 4 and even forward looping in force 5, and holding the car down in a force 7!!!
A board that you can load on to the car, yacht or campervan and take anywhere.
These boards used to be all the rage 10 – 15 years ago, you can learn the basics of everything on them.
To introduce a series of Boardseeker Funboard challenges over the next few months and to tell YOU why you should go and BUY one of these packages here are the reasons:
They are NOT just beginner boards! What’s that? You don’t believe us? Well read on and check out the flat water forward video…
Prowindsurfcreate. Get all your family and friends into windsurfing. The kit is stylish, looks good and is a great way to spend the weekend.
Accelerate. Duck gybe, plane, harness, jump. The width of these boards will plane very, very early and accelerate the learning curve.
The perfect date, surely! Teach them to windsurf, finish off with a BBQ whilst sipping some cold ones, and then show them your van…
It’s never too late. It’s not dark till late, finish work and just get in the water. Any time any place anywhere.
One step further. The more time spent on these boards in a force 2 -3 honing your freestyle and rig skills the better you will be in higher winds.
Cruise. Take your mobile phone, GPS, lunch and spend the day exploring the coast, sail round an island, lake or estuary.
Race. These boards go upwind, downwind, across the wind. They are perfect for learning basic racing skills.
Plug and Play. Use the rigs on other boards and build your quiver around them. Check out Andy King doing a Flaka on the 6.5 Arrows Craze.
Go Crazy. Impress your mates by trying the craziest manoeuvre possible. Check out James Cox doing a flat water forward loop. The most fun we have had windsurfing in a long time!
One board to rule them all. From 3.5 to 10.5m! A dagger board for teaching and basics. For performance replace the dagger board with the gasket, bolt in a performance fin and go blasting in a force 3 -6!
