Having impressed us in Pozo this year with his double loops, table top pushloops and various other trickery AND being only a month shy of his seventeenth birthday, we thought we should find more about Mr. Stone. But make no mistake, this boy is no relation to one Josh Stone – he’s from the other side of the world, from a small town called Geraldton in Western Australia.

In 2005 Jaeger won the Under19 Australian Wave Sailing Title aged 15 years old. A year later he ventured onto the PWA Tour in Pozo but met Bjorn Dunkerbeck in the first round. Another 12 months of training at his hometown of Geraldton and a month’s break in Maui and Jaeger returned to Pozo beating hotshot Marcilio Browne to finish joint 17th alongside his mentor Scott McKercher and a certain Mr. Dunkerbeck!

This boy is darn good and once he finishes schooling in another 12 months, we predict great things for this Geraldton local. You heard it here first!
