Rrd International are very happy to receive this excellent test as confirmation of the outstanding feedback we have already received on our Twin fin range, from our riders, shops and customers. As the 82 has gained such high acclaim for its loose feel, ease of sailing and all-round control we can now only urge Boardseeker magazine to review our bigger ‘Twins’ at 90 and 99 litres. We would also recommend that customers consider these bigger boards in order that they too can enjoy boards that make unbelievable turns, yet have the volume and ease of sailing that makes them very accessible.
Our 90 kilo team rider in the UK, Jem Hall, has this to say about the 90, ‘it makes turns better than a 75 single fin and has an outstanding wind range from 5.8 to 4.7 and most importantly makes sweet turns in ALL wind directions. Riding in lighter winds with bigger sails and for bigger riders is now more fun and just got a whole lot more radical.’
If a rider is looking for less extreme riding focussed performance and yet is seeking ease of sailing, top end control, awesome airtime and amazing carving performance then they need look no further than the cult range for coastal sailing or the smaller freestyle waves for more bump and jump or flatter water locations. When looking to conquer bigger waves, stronger winds and more extreme conditions then rest assured the Wave Cult Hard Core from 75 to 65 litres will definitely cater for your needs.
Rrd are proud to have such clearly defined boards in terms of their performance across their year 14 2009 range. From Twin fin to freestyle wave, including both Wave Cult ranges it is easy to get the right board for YOU to perform and enjoy!
We wish you a windy and wavey autumn.
