1. What are your best features?
I’d say my feet. My boyfriend would probably say my bum. You choose.
BSB: 4/5 (But there is so much more choice!)
2. Where are you from?
I live near to Bournemouth in the South of England. I spend a lot of time at our beach hut on Hengistbury Head, which is my little slice of heaven.
4/5
BSB: 4/5
3. What is work?
I’m a writer. My second book, Surf Wax and Vodka Jelly, has just been released. It’s a novel diarising the life of an 18-year-old fresher which delivers a cocktail of dysfunctional flatmates, intoxicating love interests, skinny-dipping with the Surf Club and the odd lecture too.
BSB: 5/5 (See the Boardseeker Book Review...)
4. What is your link with windsurfing? Windsurfing has meandered into every aspect of my life: our shed is a storage facility for windsurfing kit, we holiday in windy destinations

"A passion for windsurfing gives a man a lifestyle based around the beach and an appreciation of nature -that's important to me"

and I even found myself working in a windsurfing shop for a brief time. Oh, and my long term boyfriend, James Cox, is a professional windsurfer!
BSB: 5/5
(Why are they always taken?)
5. Can you windsurf? I’m really keen and gradually getting there. James bought me a harness for my birthday so if you sail near Mudeford Harbour you can often see me getting catapulted around like a rag doll!
BSB:4/5
(Good girl)
6. What makes a windsurfer a good boyfriend? A passion for windsurfing gives a man a lifestyle based around the beach and an appreciation of nature, which is very important to me. It also gives you a year-round tan and muscles, which is nice too.
BSB:5/5 (Our Babes seem to be under the impression that windsurfers are all tanned & hunky – fine by us!)
7. What is your most memorable achievement to date? Probably getting my first book, Student Survival Guide, published. I co-wrote it with my housemate from Uni and we had a hectic time juggling our degrees around writing a book. I think we both felt proud to have pulled it off together.
BSB:5/5
(Passionate, keen, pretty and a real life novelist, is this some kind of fairy tale?)

8. What’s the wildest thing you have done? I skydived over the Nevada desert with my best friend. I’m not brilliant with heights, so bundling out of a plane at 12,000ft felt pretty wild to me.
BSB: 5/5
9. If you were President or Prime Minister for ONE day, what would you do? I would like to say I’d instill world peace, but perhaps that’s a little over-ambitious in a day. If I were to slip into the persona of Tony Blair for 24-hours, I guess I’d prank call George Bush and then do a naked lap of honour around the Houses of Parliament giving John Prescott a wedgie on my way out.
BSB:5/5 (Now that would be some front page news!)
10. Finally, your windsurfing boyfriend says he will be out sailing for a quick hour. He comes back 4 hours later. What do you say to him? Can you de-rig my kit, too?
BSB:3/5
(How could you say no to that face?)
