UK Professional, John Hibbard, gives us a tour around the Tushingham/Starboard Bus.

"I have been driving this van to demos and events for the last few years and spent many a night sound asleep in the back. It is a Mercedes Sprinter Medium Wheel base.

It can seat 5, three in the front and two in the back. But remove the head rests, put the seats back and it’s converted into a cosy if not slightly snug bed."

However Roger Tushingham spared no expense with the following extras:

• 2.9 Turbo Intercooler with 120 bhp
• Air conditioning
• Impressive stereo system with the ability to plug your MP3 player into it
• Tinted windows
• Fully lined and carpeted in the rear.

It’s now got 115,000 miles on the clock and could do with a clean but the Tushy Bus just keeps on going from demo to demo. It can automatically make its way to Rutland Water and The Witterings!
