Day 1 of the UKWA Rhosneigr Fun Sport event unfortunately saw no wind, but that didn't stop our guest star, Nayra Alonso, getting on the water. And this was a special day  for her too. Having broken her foot back in February this was the first day back on the water in 3 months.

With glassy winds John Hibbard arrived to save the day with a van full of Starboard SUP's. Leading by example he was straight out on the water along with Nayra, Boardseeker editor Louise Emery, and John Skye. They enjoyed a pleasurable cruise around the islands in the mirror flat waters.

Tonight the fleet head to Llanduno Ski slope for snowboarding, skiing, tobogganing and of course a BBQ.

Despite the dubious forecast tomorrow, there is still plenty of action planned. With a selection of SUP's and Kona's, plus a Jet Ski offering skim and wake boarding, there is something for everyone.
