Joao Rodríguez (POR 75) has won the Olympic windsurfing class European Championship. His last European title was back in 1997, after he had won his World Champion title in Port Elizabeth in 1995.

2nd was Julien Bontemps (FRA 6) and Przemyslaw Miarczynski (POL 126).

In the ladies fleet, Marina Alabau (ESP 5) keeps showing that she is in great form to face the upcoming Olympic Games in China, and winning this event only shows she has loads of tickets to win there. It is said she is fast in light and medium winds, so all the eyes will  be on her.
In second place was Charline Picon (FRA 4) and in third was Faustine Merret (FRA 9).

The even was a success in terms of races and organization. Les Crocodile de L’Elorn, the club that organized the event, has set a pretty high standard, with big screens showing stream video from the competition, streamed commentary onto the video web, and loads of volunteers that made the event a huge success.

The next stop is will be the Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik, Holland, starting on May 21st.
