It seems Britain's windsurfers have great personalities, as another young rider gets nominated for the prestigious award. This time it is Sam Neal (JP/Neil Pryde) who took runner up in the Yorkshire Region.

Windsurfing is seen as a great way to give youngsters that natural rush that so many seem to crave. Its all great publicity for the sport and shows how nice windsurfers are in general.

Sam said “I was really pleased to even get a nomination for this prestigious award.  To see windsurfing on the map locally and coming second is great.  It has been a fantastic occasion..... a great credit for us youth.  So many VIP people at the presentation ceremony talked of the good youth do..... It felt good to be part of it.”
