John Kenny is the shinny new fastest man in Ireland. Last January 31st, he reached the average speed of 40,44 knots (he had also the last Irish record that was 40 knots).
This new record was reached at the "Driven by the Wind" speed event in Southend-on-Sea, UK.
"Driven by the Wind"  is and event run by legend Dave White, and has created a growing interest in the speed sailing.
John Kenny is going to attend some other speed event both in France and Namibia, and will try to keep braking his own records.
The WSSRC will shortly ratify Kenny's achievement.
