Well we suspected it was on the cards after Bjorn won Turkey on a Starboard, but now its official. Bjorn is no longer with T1 boards.

The press release on the T1 site shows Thommen is more than a little surprised. "I am stunned by his sudden choice to switch gear mid-season. I cannot but close a chapter- not only in my professional life but in windsurfing history books."

Whether Bjorn will now join the Starboard Dream team remains to be seen, but we are pretty sure it wont be long before the 35 times world champion will get another sponsor.
