Finally, after nearly a decade, the Scottish Windsurfing Championship is back. ScotlandWindsurf are happy no announce that dates are set (26 and 27 of July 2008) and everything is ready to make this come back unique.

Largs Sailing Club will host the event in conjunction with the Scottish Sailing Institute, supported by Clyde Windsurfing Club.

They will have races in Formula Windsurf, Raceboard, RS:X and Techno Fleets with additional awards being presented for Junior, Youth, Master, Veteran and Lady categories depending on the number of entrys for each fleet.

Racing will commence no earlier than 11:00 on Saturday with Camping available on Friday and Saturday nights.

Entry fees will be £30 for adults and £20 for youth and Junior sailors

The Notice of Race, Sailing instructions and Entry Forms will be available prior to the start of the regatta and entry will be on Friday night or Saturday morning.

This is a very exciting event that will maybe bring back some more contests to Scotland.

We hope top see plenty of people enjoying the experience.
