Albeau and Cousin Claim 2014 PWA Slalom World Titles

In one of the most dramatic events this year Antoine Albeau and Delphine Cousin managed to secure enough points to claim their respective world titles in the men’s and women’s PWA Slalom fleets.

During the competition it was Ben Van Der Steen who stole the show by holding a commanding position from early on in the rounds, however Albeau showed strong form to claim the hat-trick of world titles. A seemingly unstoppable force the man has been on fire ever since he joined forces with RRD three years ago and all eyes will be on A2 heading into 2015. Whilst on the other side of the competition Delphine Cousin showed an impressive performance to take her second world title in a row, she too has had an equally impressive year and will also be the lady in focus for 2015. No easy feat, for both the French windsurfers as they now hold 5 PWA world titles out of 6 in the last 3 years.
